GetList ("we", "us", or "our") is a grocery list management application available at getlistapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
• Grocery list data: The items, stores, and lists you create within the app.
• Usage data: Basic information such as when lists were last updated, stored to power app features.

We do not collect payment information, precise location data, or any sensitive personal information.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Provide and operate the GetList service
• Sync your grocery lists across devices
• Enable list sharing with people you invite
• Remember your app preferences

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database provided by Google LLC. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Firebase's infrastructure complies with major security standards including ISO 27001 and SOC 2/3.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Google Firebase: Our database and authentication provider (see Firebase Privacy Policy)
• Legal requirements: If required by law or legal process

When you share a list with another user, only that specific list's data is visible to them — not your account information or other lists.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your grocery list data

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

GetList is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
